The Story
Lulu has been immersed in music her whole life — years of singing, performing, and participating in choirs, alongside playing piano and guitar, gave her a front-row seat to what actually works when it comes to learning and teaching music. And just as importantly, what doesn't.
Through that experience, she started noticing patterns: the teaching methods that made kids light up, the approaches that made concepts finally click, and the outdated techniques that did nothing but frustrate and discourage. So she built something better — a teaching approach that keeps what works, and throws out everything that doesn't.
Lulu's Lyrics is the result: a warm, thoughtful teaching method built from years of real musical experience and a genuine understanding of how people learn best.
The Philosophy
Music should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Lulu's years in choirs, at the piano, and with guitar in hand taught her that the best learning happens when students feel encouraged, engaged, and genuinely excited about what they're doing.
That's why every element of how she teaches has been carefully chosen: the pacing, the song choices, the way concepts are introduced. What you won't find here are dry, one-size-fits-all curriculums or techniques that exist just because "that's how it's always been done." If it doesn't serve the student, it's out.
What remains is a teaching style built around joy, clarity, and real results — shaped by years of experience and a genuine love of music.
